(Please find English version below)

Move it?

https://www.moveithk.com/health-benefits

Yes! Simply sign up here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/moveithk2021

Q: Can I sign up after February 1st?

Yes! You may sign up anytime before February 19th and 11:59pm. However, we recommend you sign up by early February, in order to make the most of this challenge and receive all relevant tips and resources.

Q. I am not based in Hong Kong, can I join the 50km challenge?
Anyone can join the 50km challenge! However, some rewards and discount codes/special offers in our welcome pack are limited to Hong Kong based participants.

Q: How can I  track my kilometers?
You can use our print calendar template, distance tracker app such as Trailwatch or Strava, or your own distance tracker (e.g. FitBit, Apple Health, Samsung Health, Nike) and device to keep track. It’s up to you!

Join the challenge to receive our printable calendar template and log your record in February! We will email you a form at the end of the challenge to log your total.

Q: Do I need to complete 50km in one go?
No! Don’t worry, you won’t need to complete 50km in one go. You can split it up and exercise in nature on different days within the month of February! We want you to complete 50km (or more) in total in February.

Q: Where can I move it?
You can track your distance in all green spaces - including country parks, trails, urban parks, and harbour and coastal trails. Complete 50km in nature, be it by hiking, walking, running or biking. Remember to always follow the government COVID-19 guidelines!

Q: What constitutes as "in nature?"
Hiking in a country park, walking alongside the harbour, taking a walk in an urban park, or cycling by the seaside. Basically anywhere there's trees/water, which is not difficult in Hong Kong! Walking in the middle of the city (e.g. in TST) or in a mall does not count.

Q: Where can I learn more about the impact of nature on mental health?

Our Move it for Mental Health website: https://www.moveithk.com/health-benefits

Our Mind HK website: https://www.mind.org.hk/mental-health-a-to-z/nature-and-mental-health/how-can-nature-benefit-my-mental-health/

Q: Can I complete 50km as a group?
We encourage everyone to complete 50km in nature individually, but you can always exercise and bring a friend along. Please remember to follow the government COVID-19 guidelines.

Q: Will everyone wins a prize?
Everyone who completed 50km or more, and log it after the challenge, can receive one or more of the rewards.

Q: How do I win a prize?
All participants that successfully complete the #50kmNatureChallenge and log their record after the challenge can receive one or more of the rewards. Participants will be contacted by Email. All completers are required to show screenshots of their #moveithk record (from any app) or their #moveithk print calendar in order to receive a reward.

Q: How to log my record at the end of the challenge?
The Mind HK Team will send all participants a link after the challenge has ended (in early March). Complete the form and log your total distance completed in February.

Q: Should I take a screenshot of my hikes/walks?
We recommend that whenever you complete a hike/walk/bike ride in nature, you track this using a tracker on your phone, e.g. Trailwatch, Strava, etc., and screenshot it OR add your completed distance to our print calendar to keep track of your total. After the challenge, we'll ask you to log your total distance completed by sharing the screenshots or a picture of your calendar.

Q: What are the rewards?
The rewards include a range of fabulous gifts provided by our lovely support organisations, including a yoga mat, health book, vouchers, and more.

Q: How will you know that we're exercising in nature?

Some apps show your location when you complete a trail/hike and others don't - we want people to use what they are comfortable with and don't want to limit your options. If your app does not show your location, we will use an honour system.

Q: How can I prove that I've completed 50km in nature in more?
We're going to use an honour system - we trust you. Please don't lie when you log your total at the end of the challenge!

Q: How can I share my journey?
Post on social media or share pictures with us at any point. Please remember to tag us @mindhongkong and use the hashtags #moveithk and #50kmNatureChallenge. We'll also ask you to share some pics of the challenge when you log your total!

Q: I want to fundraise for Mind HK via #MoveItHK. How can I do this?
